athlete personality profile


After completing the combine, participants will be asked to complete an athlete personality assessment called the TAP. This tool is designed to help college coaches determine if a prospective student-athlete is a match for their program and their coaching style and personality.  The results of this assessment is available to participants, their parents, and college coaches only.


The TAP is a validated psychological assessment designed to provide a better understanding of an athlete’s mental make-up to aid in the evaluation, development, coaching, and parenting of the individual athlete. The TAP measures individuals on 11 behavioral traits and 3 learning traits important for participating and competing in athletics.  Upon completion, the athlete and parents will receive a TAP Athlete Type Report listing their type’s characteristics, key strengths and weaknesses, specific tips and a list of prominent athletes of the same type.  To learn more about the TAP, please click here.

For an additional cost, athletes/parents can upgrade their assessment package for additional options.  In addition to all of the basic options, the premium options include:


- Video clips of the athlete performing all assessments – these clips will be sent to the athlete for tpersonal use.

- Personalized analysis of assessments and recommendations on how the athlete can improve their overall performance and testing results in each assessment and FMS.

PRESCRIPTION FOR IMPROVEMENT


Athletes will receive general recommendations for improving in areas/assessments where they are weak or below average.  These recommendations will include drills and exercises with video demonstration.

The MAXX Report provides the results of all high school athletes in your sport who are tested at our combines. The public report will show the athlete's name, state, high school, graduation year, testing location, and results for the physical assessments.


Upon completion of each combine event, we will email EVERY college coach in the United States a link that will allow them to view player profile information, player contact information, and results from the physical assessments. To learn more about the MAXX Report, please click here.

mental performance assessment


Combine participants will be give free access to The Sports Performance Assessment (SPA). Upon completion of the mental performance assessment, participants and their parents will have FREE unlimited access to the Sport Success 360° educational program.  Sport Success 360° is a professionally designed sport education curriculum that helps athletes and parents identify and successfully respond to today's issues in sports – thereby creating the optimal sport learning and performance experience. Sport Success 360° was created using the latest research and applications in sport performance science, including important information from the fields of sport psychology, sociology, and philosophy.  The Sport Success 360° curriculum is available online and includes the supplemental Sport Success 360° PLUS audio file, and the popular Sport Success 360° videos. maxx score


Upon completion of your physical assessments, you will be ranked in each test according to the results of other high school and college athletes in your sport. The MAXX score will not only allow you to compare yourself to other athletes, but it will show you which areas you are strong in, and which areas need additional work.
